Our Story
The History of Texas Allies
Texas Allies began in 2021 with the very first Texas Ally Rally in Fredericksburg. As a brand-new rally, the focus that year was on bringing people together, building friendships, and creating the strong sense of community that continues to define Texas Allies today.
In 2022, the rally was held in Kerrville. It was a memorable year filled with fun, fellowship, and outstanding food. Attendees were also introduced to the legendary pitmaster talents of Jim Caldwell, whose cooking quickly became a rally favorite.
The 2023 rally took place at Jamaica Beach RV Resort. This event marked an important milestone as Texas Allies expanded its mission of giving back by raising funds for the David A. Ortiz Foundation. Guests also enjoyed the always-popular duck races along the lazy river.
In 2024, Texas Allies gathered in Mineola for a rally full of fun and community spirit. Attendees laced up their dancing shoes and square danced the night away with Tim Tyl as caller. Charitable donations from that year supported the Mineola Civic Center, the Mineola Youth Skate Park, and the Mineola Animal Shelter.
The 2025 rally was hosted at Camp Margaritaville Crystal Beach. Texas Allies once again partnered with the David A. Ortiz Foundation and raffled off a full independent suspension and disc brake system, with proceeds benefiting the foundation. Additional donations were made to Wildlife Warriors and the Crystal Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
Later that summer, Texas Allies, LLC was officially formed and granted 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, reflecting the organization’s commitment to service, community outreach, and charitable giving.
Today, Texas Allies continues to grow with one purpose at heart: bringing people together, giving back to communities, and making a positive difference across Texas.
Our Mission
Texas Allies LLC empowers RV owners through educational seminars and hands-on demonstrations while strengthening the communities we visit. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we’re committed to giving back through collaborative fundraising events that support local organizations wherever we rally.
Over the years, our members have supported causes close to our hearts—from the David A. Ortiz Foundation to local animal shelters, community centers, youth programs, and volunteer fire departments. When Texas Ally Rally comes to town, we bring more than RVs. We bring a community that cares.
