Our Story
What started as a simple idea in 2021 has grown into one of Texas’s most vibrant RV communities. When founders Charles and Leslie Tyer purchased their Alliance RV, they envisioned a small “Meet and Greet” for fellow Alliance owners in Texas. That first gathering quickly evolved into something much bigger—the Texas Ally Rally.
From 30 RVs at our first rally in Fredericksburg to over 150 RVs today, our community has grown because of one simple truth: Alliance RV owners love connecting with each other. We’ve gathered in Kerrville, Jamaica Beach, Mineola, and beyond—each rally bringing new friendships, shared knowledge, and unforgettable memories under the big Texas sky.
Our Mission
Texas Allies LLC empowers RV owners through educational seminars and hands-on demonstrations while strengthening the communities we visit. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we’re committed to giving back through collaborative fundraising events that support local organizations wherever we rally.
Over the years, our members have supported causes close to our hearts—from the David A. Ortiz Foundation to local animal shelters, community centers, youth programs, and volunteer fire departments. When Texas Ally Rally comes to town, we bring more than RVs. We bring a community that cares.
Our Officers
Charles & Leslie Tyer
The Tyers own their third Alliance RV. All three have been a Valor 40V13. They currently own a 2026 Valor 40v13 with blue full-body paint. They are not full-timers, but they enjoy traveling several months of the year. They always travel when it gets hot in Texas!
Tom Wyne
Even though he is not fulltime, he really enjoys traveling and camping with friends across the country.
Our Directors
Jimmie & Sarah Ballard
They are full-timing in their 2025 385FL. This is their second Alliance Paradigm. They currently spend their time in Texas park hosting at Lake Livingston State Park. When not in Texas, they are traveling and enjoying time at their property in North Carolina.
Debbie Caldwell
She owns a 2022 Paradigm 310RL and has been a fulltimer for 5 years. She has been camping for 40 years and loves the outdoors.
Mark & Angie Page
They previously owned a Paradigm 310RL. They now own a Paradigm 370FB and absolutely love it. They are fulltimers even though they still technically own a sticks and bricks home. They have been on the road in the RV for 8 years.
Gary & Kathy Rae
They own a 2021 Paradigm 370FB. This is one of the first 100 Alliance RVs built. They travel as much as they can while they work toward retirement.
Steve & Chris Jankevicius
They own a 2021 Paradigm 310RL and enjoy traveling across the USA. They are not fulltimers but they leave Texas during the hot months of the year. They have been RVing for 8 years.
